# Freeze & Unfreeze

> Instantly block or resume spending on your virtual card without deleting it or losing your balance.

Freezing a card **instantly blocks all new transactions** without deleting the card or losing your balance. You can unfreeze it at any time.

## Freeze a Card

Use this if you suspect unauthorised use, lose access to your card details, or want to temporarily pause spending.

1. Go to **Cards** and click the card you want to freeze.
2. In the detail panel, click the **snowflake icon** (冻结 / Freeze).
3. A confirmation dialog appears: **"确认冻结卡片?"** (Confirm freeze card?)
4. Click **OK** to confirm.

The card status in the list changes to **FROZEN** (orange dot).

## Unfreeze a Card

1. Go to **Cards** and click the frozen card (shown with **FROZEN** status).
2. In the detail panel, the snowflake icon is highlighted **green** and labelled **解冻** (Unfreeze).
3. Click **解冻**.
4. Confirm the dialog: **"确认解冻卡片?"** → click **OK**.

The card status returns to **ACTIVE** (green dot) and can accept transactions again.

## Status Reference

| Status | Meaning |

| 🟢 `ACTIVE` | Card is live and accepting transactions |
| 🟠 `FROZEN` | Card is blocked — no new transactions allowed |
