# Fees

> How StableMesh fees work: no plans or subscriptions, with fees set per account and shown before you confirm.

StableMesh has **no plans or subscriptions**. You pay only for what you use. Fees are set for each account, and the app shows the exact fee before you confirm any action.

## What you may be charged

| Fee | When it applies |
| - | - |
| **Card opening fee** | Once, when you open a card. Depends on the card type. Many card types have no opening fee. |
| **Top-up fee** | A percentage of each top-up from your USD account onto a card |
| **Foreign exchange fee** | When you pay a merchant in a currency other than USD |
| **Withdrawal fee** | When you withdraw on-chain, shown on the confirmation screen |

There is **no monthly fee** and **no fee per card payment**.

## Where to see your fees

* **Before opening a card:** the card details on the **Create Card** screen show the opening fee, top-up fee, minimum top-up, and FX fee for that card type.
* **Before a withdrawal:** the confirmation screen shows the **Fee** and **Total Deducted**.
* **Afterwards:** every fee is listed in **Transactions** with its own line.
